What is the Nelson Events Marketing and Development Programme?

The Nelson Events Strategy and the Nelson Events Marketing & Development Programme

    Background

  • The Nelson Events Marketing & Development Programme has been established to implement the Nelson Events Strategy.
  • The Programme is funded by the Nelson City Council, with the Nelson Regional Economic Development Agency being the lead agency and Nelson Tasman Tourism being responsible for implementation of the programme.
  • The Programme is overseen by the Events Management Committee, comprising representatives from the Nelson City Council, Nelson Regional Economic Development Agency and Nelson Tasman Tourism.
