The Nelson School of Music was founded in 1894 and it is the oldest independent music.school in New Zealand.
Every year the School contributes over 150 concerts to Nelson's thriving cultural scene!
80,000 people visit the School each year to attend courses, enjoy high profile concerts
and workshops, see international and local acts, take classes and musical tuition.
The Nelson School of Music is widely supported by performers, patrons, friends,
