Richmond Library: Book Art Competition

Tuesday 28th February-Wednesday 26th April 2017

All our lives we’re told to treat books with care – and for heaven’s sake, don’t draw on them, fold the pages, spill your cup of tea on them, damage the cover, get sand inside!

Well now Richmond Library is giving you the chance to give in to your wildest book-altering fantasies.

Enter our Book Art Competition and receive an old library book to cut, rip, glue, collage, paint – do whatever you want to!

Entries are open between 27 February and 26 April.

All entries will be displayed in the glass cabinets at Richmond Library from 26 April until 6 June.

This competition is open to people aged 16+ years.

Prizes generously donated by Take Note Takaka, Impressions Picture Framers and Art Supplies, and PaperPlus Richmond will be given to the winning entries in three categories.

Visit Richmond Library to pick up your entry form and old library book.

Terms and conditions apply – visit Richmond Library for these.
