The Deep End is an improvised comedy show where the actors take your suggestions and use them to create scenes. It's theatre on the spot- dangerous, thrilling and often hillarious! Be wowed by the endless ways in which our intrepid crew can invent one-off sketches, songs and stories.

This month we are going old school. This means we're taking it back to the classic improv format with teams, quick fire scenes and a whole heap of competitive fun. Come along and cheer for your favourite team as the players battle it out for your affections. As a very special treat, the show will feature a scene from the Nelson College for Girls Theatresports team. These talented girls won the junior Theatresports competition this year and are due to head to Christchurch for the finals very soon.

Take a team of intrepid improvisors, plunge them into a whirlpool of audience suggestions and see if they sink or swim! Either way, you're in for a great, old school night of comedy in the style of Fast and Loose and Whose Line is it Anyway?
