Be surprised during this year’s festival by mysterious projections that will appear in and around Nelson at night time.
Stay alert during evenings and nights and you may find poetic animated texts and mesmerising images appearing out of the blue, where you least expect them. A project by visual artist Klaasz Breukel in cooperation with students of NMIT’s Creative Industries Department.
Klaasz Breukel is a graphic designer and visual artist from Amsterdam who moved to Nelson with his family in 2009. Klaasz is also a live video performance artist (VJ) and has been providing visuals at international gigs and concerts since 2005. He’s involved in a number of local festivals and exhibitions and works as a graphic design tutor at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.
