Last Night of the Proms
The Annual Nelson City Brass Freeman Roofing Last Night of the Proms concert promises to be one of the best yet.
The Band are joined this year by guest artists, Sophie Ricketts and Tom McInerney who will feature in a range of songs from the stage and screen. Along with regular guests, Nelson Bays Harmony Chorus and Bays Barber Shop Chorus and Master of Ceremonies, Murray Leaning.
This year the musical flavour reflects all that is British, with the programme matching all of the highlights from the Last Night of the Proms as well as some numbers used at the Diamond Jubilee Celebration Concert and the London Olympic Games Opening Ceremony!
Audience participation is obligatory and an evening of fun and frolics is promised with Nelson City Brass and their Musical Director Mick Dowrick.
