Bruce Ansley & Peter Bush - Nelson Arts Festival

Saturday 27th October 2012

Mesopotamia Station – A Fabled Land
The historic Mesopotamia Station is located in the mid-Canterbury high country, at the headwaters of the Rangitata River.
Bruce Ansley gives a vivid portrait of the Prouting family and the 150 years of station life that have been played out at the foot of the mountains.
Peter Bush’s photographs, taken over a 50-year period, beautifully capture the great musters, the majestic country, and the distinctive characters who’ve been part of the Mesopotamia story.
