Nelson Japanese Film Festival

Friday 10th–Sunday 12th August 2012

State Cinemas and the Nelson Japanese Society are proud to be hosting the first ever Japanese Film Festival with 11 films screening over one weekend.
We have included a range of titles popular within Japan with a view to showing a snapshot of Japanese local film culture to Nelson audiences. So while there are internationally critically acclaimed titles in the lineup, there are also titles that you would expect to see showing at local cinemas throughout Japan. The selection includes a free film kindly supplied by the Embassy of Japan. All Welcome!
