From the frozen tundra of northern Canada, Shane Seward is an intensely personal songwriter who specializes in twisted tales of deceit and despair. Through ten years of vocally fronting bands ranging from grunge, screamo to prog-rock and folk, he has grown into a solo acoustic performer with a dark songwriting sensibility and a voice that can send a shiver down your spine.

Now being drawn to New Zealand by the love of a Kiwi girl and a hunger for inspiration, he left his home country and his place as one half of Canadian duo "This Conviction" to begin a new life and forge a new career as a solo artist. Although commited to his original songwriting, Shane has a repertoire full of crowd pleasers from new artists such as Fleet Foxes, The Decemberists, and Mumford and Sons as well as a collection of tried and true favourites from legends like the Beatles, Crowded House and Eric Clapton. Often drawing comparisons to artists like Dallas Green and Dustin Kensrue, expect thought provoking, captivating, acoustic music from an emerging artist not to be missed.
