Our desire is to see family/whanāu and wider communities strong, healthy and thriving. At the Women’s Health Expo we want women in our communities to have a greater awareness of their own health issues, but also that women would be empowered with knowledge to assist their family/whanāu with their health issues. We will have more than 30 local health providers on show to promote health and wellbeing.

Our main focus is to promote women’s health and wellbeing. Providers will be promoting services appropriate for women of all ages and stages of life. Many of our providers are intending to provide interactive stalls as well as having information available for attendees i.e. Hearing checks, Spinal checks, Therapeutic Massage and Blood pressure etc.

With providers.attending from Alzheimers, Diabetes NZ, St John, Heart Foundation and the Hearing Association, our aim is to promote and educate the wider Nelson community about what these organisations do and when and how to access their support.
