With the YES version of the 'Dragon's Den' , year 12 and 13 students participating in the Young Enterprise Scheme's oral presentations from Nelson College, Nelson college Girls, Golden Bay High School and Garin College will be presenting their business plans. This is where the teams /businesses make their pitch to a panel of outside judges / ‘Dragons’ which is made up from a cross section of local business people. The business teams have 5 minutes plus Q&A time each to present their business plans and are looking for investment to kick start their business ideas into a viable, profitable business. There is $ 2,000 total up for grabs as well as adverting from the judges / Dragons.
Teachers, parents, mentors, supporters and most of all, business people are encouraged to come and hear young entrepreneurs in motion with innovative, creative ideas displayed with passion and dedication.
