Lyn says, "This exhibition was inspired by my childhood years sitting on a jetty or perched on a rock, dangling a hook into the deep blue ocean, never knowing what was going to grab hold and appear from the depths ... “out of the blue” as it were.

It is dedicated to my Mum and Dad, who put that first line in my hand, who patiently helped to bait hooks and remove wriggling fish... who put a mask and snorkel on me and showed me the other world that exists under the water.... and who taught me to respect the sea and all the myriad life that lives in it.

“Out of the Blue” is my appeal for fair fishing, both on a personal and commercial level."
