A mystical magical family day out, celebrating the unique environment of Milnthorpe Scenic Reserve, a 400 acre regenerating native forest. Many activities: faery picnic, treasure hunt, storytelling, creative workshops (wing and wand making), sculpture, music, food stalls. Adults and children are encouraged to dress as faery folk and musicians wander the forest enchanting visitors. This has been the most popular event in Heart Art to date.
Being in nature is calming and therapeutic, and the mystical magical focus of the event stimulates the creative imagination of young and old alike. It is especially important to nurture this spark in children and to instil in them the importance of conserving natural environments.
