Climate by Candlelight - Hard talk with soft lights

Saturday 27th March 2010

Here’s a chance to ask the hard questions about climate change. Dr David Lowe will give a presentation on climate change, then the floor will be open to questions, by candlelight! Skeptics, disciples and everyone in between, welcome. The bar will be open, serving a range of fine wines and beers. Join us for an entertaining and informative evening of debate and data.

Dr David Lowe is one of New Zealand’s leading atmospheric chemists. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Antarctic Research Centre at Victoria University, lead author for the United Nations IPCC 2007 report, contract researcher for NIWA and key contributor to Gareth Morgan’s book “Poles Apart: After all the shouting who is right about climate change?” David is also director of a small company, LOWENZ Ltd, specialising in climate change education and renewable energy projects.
