The South Island Area Championships features skaters performing in the discplines of speed, artistic, dance and precison. Skaters aged from 5 thru to masters 50+.
This event is a qualifier to skate at the New Zealand Nationals in Auckland later in the year.
On display will be some of the best in NZ and performing routines practised and perfected over many months.
Best time to attend will be mid afternoon. Speed distance events, artistic freeskating, dance and dance pairs, speed relaysNelson skaters on show have represented New Zealand in Precison and dance as well as those relatively new to the sport.
