This is a community wide event - an opportunity to try the many sports on offer in Tahunanui over the course of the day. A flyer detailing instructions and listing all participating sports groups will be widely distributed for use on the day. The flyers are your entry to "have a go" and will be stamped by the sports groups you visit, when you have completed the sports you wish to try, bring your flyer down to Burrell Park to enter into a draw at 5pm. At each sports venue all participants will get to use equipment necessary to play the sport and have instruction on how to play. The sports venues will be open at different times between 10am and 4pm. Fun sports and activiities for the kids will be from 2pm to 4pm at Burrell Park, then from 4pm to 6pm there will be an assortment of entertainment for all the family to enjoy. Bring a picnic or enjoy food on offer at the Park. The day will finish up at 6pm.
