The Nelson Sportsperson of the Year Awards is Sport Tasman's marquee event of the year and recognises outstanding performance and service to sport by people in the Nelson region!

There will be a three course plated meal and some complimentary refreshments. The dress code is formal (black tie for men/evening wear for women).

Hear the entertaining story of our MC for the night - Olympian and 1974 Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist DICK TAYLER.

Then be inspired by the Harvey World Travel Mid City Nelson guest speaker - Olympian and three time world adventure racing champion RICHARD USSHER and his journey to the top.

Local youth hip hop team ORIGIN Dance Crew will open the evening with a high energy performance!

Twelve OLYMPIANS will be attending the Awards Dinner and there will be time for you to mingle and chat with them.
